Our Client Nabha Bricklaying Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join their team located in Melbourne.
• Lay bricks, pre-cut stone, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and other structures.
• Measure, cut, and shape bricks or blocks to required sizes using hand tools, power tools, and brick-cutting machines.
• Read and interpret building plans and specifications to determine layout, materials, and work sequences.
• Mix mortar and prepare surfaces for bricklaying.
• Check vertical and horizontal alignment using spirit levels and plumb lines.
• Repair and maintain existing brickwork, stonework, and masonry structures.
• Operate equipment and tools safely in accordance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, site supervisors, and apprentices to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools, materials, and work areas.
Certificate III in relevant field or 3 Years of Experience
Competitive salary of $80000 per annum plus 12% super
