Truck Driver

Position Description

Our Client GOBIND ROADWAYS PTY LTD is seeking 3 experienced Truck Drivers to join their team located in Casuarina, Western Australia 6167.

Tasks required include:

    • Drive heavy vehicles to transport goods.

    • Load and unload goods using forklifts, cranes, or by hand as required.

    • Ensure load is properly secured to prevent any damage during transport.

    • Plan delivery routes, follow assigned schedules, and deliver goods safely and on time.

    • Inspect trucks before and after trips, checking oil, tyres, brakes, lights, and other safety items.

    • Keep delivery logs, fuel usage, and maintenance records.

    • Follow all road and transport safety regulations, including fatigue management and weight limits.

    • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly to management.

    • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle.

Qualification and Experience

• Minimum diploma in management and 1 years of experience. Good communication skills , clear driving history, Valid Australian heavy vehicle driver’s licence (MC), Sound knowledge of safe loading and road transport procedures, Ability to follow instructions, manage time, and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of basic truck maintenance and safety checks.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work when required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, or regional trips.
