Our Client The Pyramid Bar & Restaurant seeking an experienced Chef and Cook to take on a leading role in our kitchen. This position requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to deliver high-quality dishes while managing daily kitchen operations as Chef and follow recipes, and maintain a clean and organised workspace as cook.
For Cook
- Prepare and cook a range of dishes to a high standard
- Ensure all meals are presented well and served on time
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with food preparation, storage, and stock rotation
- Work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
For Chef
- Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of menu items
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including Cooks and kitchen hands
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen supplies
- Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cook/ Chef
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and the ability to uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene.
- Competitive salary of $77,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
